"Hope Center"

This center was built at Selimbar, near Sibiu were we started the activity and our work in 1993, on a building site of aproximately 5000 square meters, with the purpose of housing and supporting orphan girls, who conclude their stay in state orphanages at 18. Besides the main activity, the center enjoys many facilities, destined to support part of the expenses of the center. The total housing capacity is 32 places for these girls, number depending on the posibility of supporting. At present there are 7 girls in this center. The center has a conference room of 100 places, 40 housing places (besides the 32 places for girls), a dining hall of 70 places, kitchen, a sport field (not ready yet) and a vegetable garden of 3000 square meters.

All revenues of the membership corporation come from various churches from Romania and other countries, Christian Missions and individual persons. Asociatia Missionara Crestina "Speranta", Selimbar, Romania is registrated with the state in Romania as independent diaconal membership corporation. The expenses for supporting one girl in the center is 200 euros per month, including meals, housing and other expenses, thus the girls are not forced to spend their monney from their wages. anno 2003

For the living of the girls in House "Hope" 200,-- Euro per months are necessary at present. These costs contain food, accomodation and everything else as well as salaries for the personnel. Due to the fact that costs in Romania have gone up tremendously, we had to rent out a part of the building in 2008 to a construction company from Austria in order to be able to care for at least 10 - 14 girls in House "Hope".
