Cornel Barlea,  Program Director We work in ``The House of Hope `` because we believe this is the way the Lord called us to serve Him. He want to help these girls by giving them the chance to learn to take care of their own needs and to help them be able to provide for themselves giving them a chance that they will never have other way.
Maria Barlea,   Finace Director We are very glad to see the progresses that they are doing and this is encouraging us to continue this ministry even if it is not always easy.
Ehrhart Weider, Honorific President (for Germany and Switzerland) For me as a Christian, the word and the deed represent two elements that can not be separated. So I try with all my strength to fulfil the needs of the people in need around me, needs that really touched my heart. My motto is: `` My ministry is not o drop of water on a hot rock, but a drop of oil in God’s machine``.
Nicu B., Janitor Nicu has 3 children; all are married. His wife died when she was 36 years old. So he stayed alone and was forced to raise his children all by himself. At present he is pensioner. Since he is accustomed to hard work in his life, also now at his age he wants to support the work in House "Speranta".
Lenuta B., Governess She worked 30 years as welder in a factory. She has 3 daughters; one who is already married, another that has finished university and has an employment at present, and another daughter who still attends secondary school. Her husband died. 3 years ago Lenuta and her youngest daughter were in a mother/daughter retreat that takes place every summer in Valea Moasei. On that occasion both have shown that they love to engage in service, no matter if in the kitchen or elsewhere. Also girls from House "Speranta" attended that retreat - that was the first contact between the girls and Lenuta and her daughter Ileana. Since then the relationship between them and the girls from House "Speranta" was ever growing, year by year at the retreats. Beginning of 2006 Lenuta decided to start working with the girls in House "Speranta" in Selimbar.
